Arches - Woven Tapestry
Arches — Woven Tapestry
Arches National Park is other-worldly. Everywhere you look is another painted scene of beauty. My mind could not comprehend how these landscapes exist on planet earth. And so, for week one of #100daysofphotostofibers, I drew inspiration from this photo I took + set out to paint with fiber. Using botanically dyed fibers, there is a depth to the intricate woven details that draws you into the scene + planning your next road trip to see this spectacular wonder.

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
