In The Chaos - Hexagon Weaving
In The Chaos — Hexagon Weaving
Life is messy. It doesn’t play by any rules. The tides can shift without any warning. The undertow can flip you upside down in an instant. So when the GoPro snaps this photo of the turmoil beneath the surface, I start to wonder — can beauty be found in the chaos?
Nature has always been my best teacher — and the chaos within the waves is no exception. So, for this hexagon weaving of the #100moredaysofphotostofibers collection, I drew inspiration from this photo I unknowingly took underneath the waves in San Diego, CA.
I set out to embrace the chaos below the surface of the sea by mixing all the vibrant + soft blues, greens, whites + just a hint of pink in this abstract framed weaving.
For #the100dayproject, my original photos will also be available for purchase. If you would like to purchase the print, “In The Chaos”, it is available here.
Size: 12”W x 12”H, with 6” sides*
Color: Belize, Aleutian, Indigo, Turquoise, Mint, Seafoam, Aqua, Snapdragon, Pink Lemonade, Petal, Frost, White, + Ivory, Within a Metal Frame
Ready to Ship
*Metal frames can hang from any point or side, or can sit on a shelf.
Previously Sold. If you want me to recreate something similar, please contact me.

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
