Mount Entoto Eucalyptus - Woven Hexagon
Mount Entoto Eucalyptus — Woven Hexagon
Mount Entoto, Ethiopia is covered in a dense eucalyptus forest + it has become a tradition of mine to visit it first thing after I arrive. So, for the reimagined #photostofibers collection, I drew inspiration from this photo I took while in Ethiopia of Mount Entoto’s Eucalyptus forest. At an altitude of over 10,500 feet, the fresh air + eucalyptus scent is the most grounding deep breath after days of travel, not to mention the incredible aerial views of Addis are truly breathtaking.
I set out to create an abstract weave combining multiple textures + hues of eucalyptus, jade, pine, fern, aloe + forest fibers. Incorporating wool, recycled fibers + hand-dyed squish from other small businesses, this one weave supports six other small businesses around the world!
My original photo of Mount Entoto is available here.
Size: 12”W x 12”H, with 6” sides*
Color: Fern, Pine, Seafoam, Eucalyptus, Jade, Kelp, Aloe, Lagoon, + Grey, within a metal frame
*Metal frames can hang from any point or side, or can sit on a shelf.

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
For more information about each organization, visit Our Connections.
