Sand Dunes - The Remnant Collection
Sand Dunes - The Remnant Collection
2020 is leaving its mark. What was thought to be the start of a shiny new decade full of possibilities, quickly dissolved into a year overflowing with personal + collective grief. In many ways it feels like a lost year of leftover time — not quite sure how to navigate. And while I may eagerly want to discard the scraps + turn the page to whatever comes next, I am mindful of the moments woven throughout this year that held beauty.
The Remnant Collection is made from the leftover scraps I’ve gathered this year. What could have easily been thrown out to make way for the next project, I saved in hopes to make something beautiful from what was left behind. I had no plan, other than to use what I had leftover + see what was possible. In many ways, The Remnant Collection has been therapeutic after the year we have all experienced. A chance to discard the detailed, organized plans + let whatever comes, happen. To embrace the uncomfortable uncertainty, and rediscover joy in being wild + free.

Color: Natural, Ivory, Mocha, Oatmeal + Blush on Branch

With every sale, you choose a project you would like to support. My hope is that it would connect you to some incredible work that is being done around the world. Together, we are #knotjustthreads, we are an interwoven tapestry and when we come together, beautiful things can happen.
I have been intentional with the organizations I have chosen to support. I know that it is not only important to know where the money goes, but to know that the work is being done in sustainable ways to produce a long-lasting impact. Having personally partnered with each of these organizations in the field, I have seen how they practice love in action.
